HOMEMADE TORTILLA CHIPS

Serves: as required     Est. Time: varies     Difficulty: One Star


Ingredients:

    Corn or flour tortillas
    Canola oil
    Your choice of toppings

Directions:

1   Cut tortillas into wedges.
2   Fill a frying pan with a ¼" of oil and heat on high until hot. Then reduce to low heat, and fry six wedges at a time until they puff up and darken slightly on both sides (about one minute on each side).
3   Place on paper towels to soak up any extra oil. Top with your choice of seasonings. Some that work well include garlic salt, chili powder, powdered cheese and a powdered ranch dressing mix.
